1536 Tickets - London

English Kings don’t kill their wives, right?

1536, Tudor England.

A field somewhere in Essex.

Three young women rush to their childhood meeting place, all thirsty to hear the gossip from London.

Word is spreading of a fiery clash between King Henry VIII and his Queen, Anne Boleyn. And a little closer to home, another rumour begins to ignite.

As the women start to witness echoes of the royal drama touching their own rural lives, a wave of violence begins to threaten their very existence, and they realise that the royal scandal could now cost them everything.

1536 is produced in the West End at the Ambassadors Theatre by Sonia Friedman Productions, the Almeida Theatre, and Annapurna Theatre.

1536 plays at the Ambassadors Theatre. The small West End venue has two levels and a capacity of 410 seats. Premium seats are located in the front two rows of the Circle and the centre of the Stalls between seats 6-12 in rows D-G.

Due to the intimacy of the venue, bargain hunters can locate value in the back row of the Circle, which offers a good view of the stage. The overhang from the Circle does slightly encroach on the rear seats in the Stalls, with the back rows having a slightly restricted view. This should reflect in the price.

Patrons on a budget can find good value for 1536 tickets in the last four rows of the Circle from H to L, which are often discounted and offer a great view of the stage with good legroom.
